Hello, and welcome to Music Pixels, a blog dedicated to the archiving of J-Pop CD scans. In the past, I’ve had a difficult time finding high quality pictures of J-Pop CD artwork without having to scour the web, so I decided a few years ago to make and share my own collection. Because this is an archive for high quality scans, I will very rarely ever post anything under 500 x 500, and most images will be 600 x 600 or above.
If you have any contributions you’d like to make to the archive, feel free to contact me! After all, this is a communal project, one which I hope will be shared by all J-Pop enthusiasts. Music Pixels has already grown much larger than I could have ever anticipated, partly in thanks to all of the positive feedback and support I’ve received. So thank you to everyone who has said a kind word, left a suggestion, and/or continued to visit the blog, even when updates were all too sporadic!
One last note: When referring to J-Pop artists, I will put prename before surname in romaaji. This is to avoid confusion for English speakers who may not be familiar with the Japanese format of names (surname before prename). I will also include names in kana when possible for language purists such as myself
